Manage Xero Charges
Chair-side Charges
Step 1: Hugo Systems - Click Mange Xero Charges
Step 2: Hugo Systems - Click Add charge
Step 3: Hugo Systems - Click Add charge
- Charges Name - Code - ICD-10
- Charge Price(incl VAT)
- Charge VAT Rate
- This VAT rate must be the same as your Xero VAT Rate
- Hide unused charges
- If a charge is required at every appointment select Required
Step 4: Hugo Systems - Once you have added all of your charges click Update Accounts in Xero
Step 5: Xero - Visit Accounting > Chart of Accounts in Xero
Step 6: Xero - Check that all of the accounts have been created
- This may take a few minutes
- If you make changes or Add more accounts rerun
Step 5
- All accounts linked to Hugo Systems are prefixed with HS/
- You can create Groups on your income statement to sort these accounts
Step 7: Xero - Set the corresponding VAT amounts
- Search the list for accounts starting in HS/
- Select all accounts
- Click Change Tax Rate
Step 8: Xero - Set the correct VAT account
- Select the correct VAT amount
- You may need to confirm this with your Book keeper or Accountant
