Sending Reports
Reports can be sent to patients and referring doctors via a patient’s Report Dashboard
To send a report:
- find the Submitted Reports section of the page
- find the report that you would like to send
- click on the dot menu to the right of the report
- click Send report to patient / doctors
A dialoag will appear where you can choose who to send the report to, and on which communication channels.
Who receives the report
When sending a report, you can choose to send it to the patient, the patient’s referring doctors, or both.
Patient
The report can be sent to the patient via email and/or WhatsApp, depending whether WhatsApp messaging has been enabled for your practice.
When sending to the patient via email, the email will contain the following:
- Welcome letter
- Links to the report’s clinical summary and dentist letter
- Links to the report’s quotes, if the report has any
When sending to the patient via WhatsApp, the patient will receive a message containing a link to log in to their patient portal, where they can view the report
Referring doctors
If the patient has referring doctors associated with their profile, you can select which doctors should receive the report.
The email sent to each referring doctor will contain:
- a login link with their username, so they can view the full report in the practice portal
- a dentist letter for the patient
