Signing quotes
To confirm a treatment, a practice may request that you sign a quote. A quote may be signed in two ways:
- by logging into the patient portal:
- find the quote you would like to sign
- click Add Your Signature or Upload Signed Quote
- fill in the form’s details, and submit
- by sitting with a staff member from the medical practice who will take you through the signing process
If you signed the quote yourself, then you’re done! If, however, you signed a quote while sitting with a staff member from the medical practice, we need to make sure it was you who signed the quote.
Quotes signed at the medical practice
You can sign a quote either through a staff member’s account or directly through the patient portal. To protect your privacy, Hugo Systems will label quotes signed through a staff member’s account as awaiting your confirmation.
If you think a quote signed through a staff member’s account wasn’t signed by you, you should contact the practice directly to let them know.
Confirming quote signatures
To ensure that both you and the practice are happy with the signature, the practice may ask you to confirm that you signed the quote.
To confirm the signed quote:
- log in to the patient portal
- find the quote
- click on the Signature link
- on the quote signature page, inspect the date and signature on the quote, and then approve the signing
- click button that says Yes, I signed this quote that will be visible if the quote was signed outside of your patient portal
If someone else has signed your quote
If a quote that was signed at the medical practice appears to have been signed by someone else, please contact your medical practice as soon as possible to let them know.
