Medical Aid

A full list of medical aid details for patients at your practice can be found by doing the following:

  • log in as a staff member
  • in the primary navigation, click Finance
  • click Medical Aid Details

Searching and filtering

Use the search form at the top of the page to find specific medical aid details.

  • Patient - search by patient name, email, phone number, or ID
  • Medical aid number - exact match on the account number
  • Solumed compliance - filter by whether the detail has a linked medical aid plan:
    • All - show all medical aid details (default)
    • Solumed-compliant - only details with a linked plan (scheme and plan selected from Solumed’s database)
    • Not Solumed-compliant - only details with free-text medical aid information (no linked plan)

Click Search to apply the filters.

Compliance status

Each medical aid detail in the list shows whether the details are compliant with Solumed or not:

  • Solumed-compliant - the detail has a linked plan
  • Not Solumed-compliant - the detail has only free-text information

Click on a medical aid detail to navigate to the patient’s profile.
