Treatment Category
A patient’s treatment options can be described in a patient report, and can be managed by doing the following:
- create a new report
- visit the report summary
- scroll down to the Treatment Category section
- click Edit
A report’s treatment category describes:
- whether treatment for the patient is required or not
- treatments that you can offer to the patient
- the ICD 10 code associated with the report
- any notes important to the treatment
Treatment Required
Some patients may require treatment, others may not, or they may require surgery to be performed before they are eligible for treatment. A treatment category can describe these scenarios by being set to one of the following options:
- Yes
- No
- Future Treatment Required
- Optional
The Welcome Letter to the patient will change based on the selection here.
Treatments
Treatments that you would like to offer the patient can be selected here, and one or more must be selected when “Treatment Required” is set to “Yes”.
Quotes will be generated for patients based on the selected treatment codes, and you may choose to synchronise the report’s quotes with the selected treatment codes when saving the treatment category.

ICD 10 Code
An ICD 10 code must be selected when “Treatment Required” is set to “Yes”.
You may choose to synchronise the report’s quotes with the selected ICD 10 code when saving the treatment category.
