Adding patients

Patients can be added to your organisation in one of two way:

  • via a dedicated Add patient page
  • via the appointment grid
    • this method is convenient for creating a patient and appointment without visiting multiple pages

Adding patients via the Add patient page

To create a patient:

  • log in as a staff member
  • click Patients in the primary navigation at the top of the page
  • click Add atient
  • add the patient’s details to the form
  • click Create patient

Adding patients via the appointment grid

  • log in as a staff member
  • click Appointments in the primary navigation at the top of the page
  • click Appointment grid, and if applicable, visit the grid for the appropriate location to schedule the appointment with
  • find the date and time of the appointment to create for the patient
  • click on the time slot
  • in the dialog that appears, click Create a patient
  • add the patient’s details to the form
  • click Create patient

The new patient will be created and selected for the appointment to be scheduled
