Invoice generator templates
For treatments with a well-defined invoicing structure, one can make it simpler to work with the invoice generator by creating templates.
See the invoice generator page for how to use templates once they have been created.
Administrators may manage invoice generator templates for your organisation by doing the following:
- navigate to the invoicing settings
- click on the Invoice generator templates link
The form for managing the details of templates works in much the same way as the form for generating invoices, with a few small differences:
- templates have a title to make it easier to differentiate them from each other
- templates are not associated with any particular location
- templates are not associated with appointments
- the reference date on the form is there to help with evaluating how dates on generated invoices would appear
Creating templates
Once on the page listing your organisation’s templates, new templates can be created by clicking on the Add template button next to the heading of the page.
Please see the invoice generator page for details on working with invoice sets, line items, and due dates.
Editing templates
From the page listing your organisation’s templates, click on the title of the template, or:
- click on the dot menu to the right of the template you would like to edit
- click Edit
- follow the instructions on the invoice generator page for details on working with invoice sets, line items, and due dates.
Archiving templates
To archive a template:
- click on the dot menu to the right of the template you would like to archive

Once archived, a template will no longer appear on the invoice generator page.
