Oral hygiene feedback Administrators only

Oral hygiene feedback allows practices to create messages for patients and their referring doctors based on oral hygiene scores.

As an example, a patient that was given a low oral hygiene score may be prompted to seek dental care, with their referring doctors notified to initiate an appointment.

A patient with a high oral hygiene score may appreciate that their good oral hygiene has been acknowledged, while not sending any messages to their referring doctors.

This feedback will be available on oral hygiene score items for patients to view in the patient portal, and may be configured to be sent to patients upon creation new items.

Administrators can manage feedback for oral hygiene scores by doing the following:

  • logging in
  • clicking on the button containing their initials in the top right of the page
  • clicking Settings
  • clicking on Oral hygiene feedback in the sidebar

Creating oral hygiene feedback items

To create a new oral hygiene feedback item:

  • click on Add oral hygiene feedback after navigating to the oral hygiene feedback settings page
  • select the minimum and maximum scores the feedback is applicable to
    • ranges of scores cannot overlap across feedback items. This ensures that only a single message is shown to patients given any score
  • enter a message to be displayed to the patient
  • optionally, enter a message for the patient’s referring doctors
  • select the notification mode for the feedback:
    • Automatic: notifications can be sent to patients and their referring doctors automatically when oral hygiene scores are added. Notifications may also be sent manually - please see the oral hygiene scores page for more information
    • Manual: notifications can be sent to patients and doctors manually. Please see the oral hygiene scores page for more information
    • Disabled: notifications are not enabled for this feedback item, but will still be visible on individual oral hygiene score items
  • click Save

Editing oral hygiene feedback items

To edit an oral hygiene feedback item:

  • find the relevant item after navigating to the oral hygiene feedback settings page
  • click the dot menu on the right of the item, and then click Edit
  • update the relevant fields in the form
  • click Save

Archiving oral hygiene feedback items

To archive an oral hygiene feedback item:

  • find the relevant item after navigating to the oral hygiene feedback settings page
  • click the dot menu on the right of the item, and then click Archive
  • confirm that you wish to archive the item
